Fashion | Balenciaga - Shaping Fashion Exhibition

I finally got to see the Balenciaga | Shaping Fashion exhibition at the V&A in London a few weekends ago.
I've always wanted to see it, as I love fashion and learning about different designers and how they work. I love to gain inspiration and not only is the Victoria and Albert Museum one of my favourite places to visit in London, I just love the exhibitions they hold on various designers. The previous one on Alexander McQueen, took my breath away, so it was nice to see another one with such variety to show within his designs.
The lay out of the exhibition was amazing, and there was a lot of effort put in. Each display was focused around the various shapes he created, as a voluminous designer. He designs were about moving away from the female form, rather than hugging it. Some designs were beautiful, and he worked closely with other designers too like Chanel and Christian Dior who are my all time favourites. There were ruffles, volume, shapes, detailing, minimalism and the famous no seam coat. The exhibition has finished now, but looking forward to the next one and intrigued as to who it may be on...
