Whilst I was in Milan, I just had to take the opportunity to shop! It was the most fantastic experience with a glam feel. Walking around the centre with all the expensive designer shops and no traffic in sight, just the buzz of people who are fashion conscience. I loved seeing how everyone in Milan dressed, so trendy and glam with lots of references to leather and fur.
I wanted to share with you my purchases, which wasn't a huge amount as I ran out of time and money!
Embroidered faux leather top | Zara
I adore the embroidery trend at the moment and loved this top as its cropped so I can wear it with trousers or a skirt and its so simple but chic with a bit of embroidery, it makes it so classy and fashionable. I have already worn it as I loved it so much, It also has a loose feel to it so I can move around which is always good as leather can be restricted.
Velvet Body | Pull and Bear
This is the first time I have bought a body and I love how sumptuous it is! Its so soft and dressy. I love the colour of it too, as its neutral so can be worn with any skirt or even jeans to dress it down a bit. I think this is also a first purchase from Pull and Bear, as we don't have many In the UK.
I can't wait to wear it over the Christmas period.
Drape long sleeve top | Zara
I really fell in love with this design. I think its great how they have taken a basic long sleeve top and put a twist through it, to give it a bit more detail. I'm a huge fan of drape, having used it many times in my own designs. I adore the colour too, as its an unusual shade of khaki which will look lovely with grey and denim. I cant wait to layer it up.
Earrings and Brooch | H&M
I'm always on the hunt for pretty and unusual accessories and love these black and gold designs. I thought the brooch would look lovely pinned to a plain jumper or through a scarf to keep it together. Although we have H&M everywhere, I always find different things abroad and find it interesting to see how they style things in Milan as everyone has there own unique ideas about fashion.
Fever Lipstick in Ethereal Stone | Wycon Cosmetics
Lastly, I picked up this beautiful red lipstick from Wycon Cosmetics, which I haven't heard of before and love trying out new brands. Its a stunning red, called ethereal stone, perfect for Christmas! It goes on like a dream, and is like a matte look but doesn't dry out your lips like other brands tend to. It almost felt like a lipbalm on the lips when I tried it for the first time.
I really enjoy picking up different things when I'm abroad and it also gives me memories of my trips. I will remember Milan not just from my photos but from my purchases every time I wear them :)
