Last month I got to travel to Rome to celebrate my 30th birthday! It was such a special month full of celebrations.
Turning 30 is always deemed a bit scary, like where have the years gone and all of a sudden you find yourself in the beginning of your thirties!
I was lucky to have been taken away by my family to celebrate mine. Waking up on your 30th in a beautiful Italian city was quite a surreal moment. We stayed for 3 nights and got to visit as many places as we could and thought I would share my top places that I recommend visiting if you are lucky enough to get to go. I mean who doesnt love a city break and enjoying the beautiful architecture and sight seeing- taking all the culture in.
1. The Colleseum
On my birthday I got to visit the colleseum which was incredible! Steeped in history it was so breathtaking.
2. The Roman Museum
If you love museums you have to visit this one. Full of Roman sculptures dating way back, coinage from hundreds of years ago, mosiacs and just wonderful architecture.
3. The Roman forum and pallatine hill.
This was so breathtaking, I couldnt beleive my eyes. You cant leave Rome without taking in the beautiful scenic views and climbing your way to the top and viewing the history with the sun beaming around.
4. The Trevi fountain.
This had to be my absolute fave place. Cramped in the middle of the city is this incredible fountain with clear blue waters guarded by local police for being so precious. People even throw money into the fountain which is meant to be good luck. I even got an instagrammable moment sat looking over it.
5. The spanish steps.
Climb to the top of the steps to see the view of the city and look down over tourists and shops and restaurants just taking in the culture.
I also enjoyed a yummy black cherry gelato amongst my visit of the city, not to mention beautiful Italian food in the local restaurants. My fave has to be caprese salad - full mozarella with fresh tomatoes, drizzled in balsamic vinegar and fresh basil leaves. Whats your favourite Italian dish and where are your fave cities to visit? Cant wait to visit again, If im lucky enough I would love to visit the vatican city.

Style | The Florist Restaurant - Bristol
I recently travelled to Bristol for a girly day out with my cousin Amy. We decided to spend the day chilling eating, drinking cocktails and of course a spot of shopping in the city - at Cabot Circus.
As we both love anything girly, we came across this restaurant called The Florist on Instagram and decided to give it a try. As soon as we walked in I couldnt beleive my eyes. It was the most stunning place I have ever been to. You walked into a cute bar which then led you up some stairs to be greeted to staff members who showed you to your table, who were more than obliging. Everywhere you turned there were pretty florals above you and different rooms with the same theme of beautiful girly decor, white washed tables with chairs covered in floral fabrics, big roses painted on the walls, florals hanging from the ceiling, pale pink velvet chairs, different quotes on every wall, it was an artistic paradise. Even the toilets were so glam with florals delicately arranged around mirrors and stunning hand cream to help yourself to.
Not only did we have a beautiful lunch, we also enjoyed Lavendar thistle cocktails and salted caramel milkshakes not to mention honey bread with melted goats cheese adorned with edible flowers.
If you havnt been, I thoroughly reccommend it and cannot wait to visit again. Ive even been researching to see where there could be another Florist restaurant and Im excited to find that Liverpool have one, who knows maybe my next visit will be there! Me and my cousin couldnt stop taking photos, it was literally paradise and made my day.
Best restaurant 🖤 best day

Style | The prettiest cafe in Knightsbridge
Last month I got to visit probably the most Insta friendly cafe in London - Elan. I first spotted this cafe in Mayfair and fell in love with the beautiful feminine interior and unique glam menu that offers healthy breakfasts and snacks for lunch not to mention the coffee and hot chocolate choices! consisting of caramel, cherry and Nutella flavours. I love finding somewhere unique compared to the usual everyday cafes.
Its not cheap, but then when are nice things cheap? I think even if you only experience the best and most glam of places or things once in your life, then at least you have experienced it, after all you only live once...
When i found out they were opening one in Knightsbridge, I thought I have to try it as I loved the other one so much. This is even better and a lot bigger! They have a beautiful rose wall and individual roses on each table and the chairs remind me of velvet, it feels so romantic. The coffee cups are so chic in pastel Pink, making you want a take away drink to just keep the cup!
So next time your visiting London, be sure to check it out.
Where is your favourite cafe to visit?
